Scott-Fox Pet Dog Training has open enrollment for their renowned Puppy Preschool located on Woodbury in Altadena. The school is founded and led by Penny Scott-Fox, one of the nation’s most respected dog trainers, behavior specialists, and K9 sports competitors.

“The Puppy Preschool is an essential beginning for all puppy owners who wish to have a well behaved, ‘can take anywhere’ adult dog,” said Scott-Fox, who personally evaluates every dog before they are accepted into the program.

Celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, the school provides care and training of puppies from ages eight weeks to six months, which includes the crucial formative period of two to four months. It’s an exclusive service held in a 1,200 sq. ft. training facility with limited class sizes to ensure the utmost attention and training are available to meet each puppy’s individual needs. Special brush-up training is available for adult dogs as well.

Just like all small businesses in Altadena, Scott-Fox Pet Dog Training and many of its clients were impacted by the Eaton Fire. Fortunately, they were able to recover quickly and keep the school open to continue serving dogs and their families in need of training and care.

“We have been so fortunate to positively impact the start of so many puppies’ journeys into being well-behaved adult dogs,” said Scott-Fox.
