The hot sunny days as of late tend to keep people indoors with their air conditioners on full blast. Many assume that it’s too hot to go outside or do anything active. Don’t let those assumptions mislead you, think otherwise. The Pasadena Ice Skating Center is literally a cool place to go on a warm day.
Who wants to spend a hot summer day bored while confined to the indoors? Ice skating can provide an exciting way to escape the heat and it is a wonderful and fun activity that is suitable for all ages. It’s also a good way to get some exercise. Whether you’re an ice skating pro or a newcomer to the sport, the Pasadena Ice Skating Center is an ideal location for a day of “coolness”.
Near Paseo Colorado and the Pasadena Convention Center at 310 E. Green Street, the Ice Skating Center is a convenient place for Pasadena locals and visitors to spend a few hours when in the area.
It is also an adventure that won’t break the bank. General admission is $7 and only $3 to rent skates. On Sunday’s from 9 A.M to 10:45 A.M and Thursday’s from 7:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M., the Pasadena Ice Skating Center offers “cheap skate”, which costs a total of $7 for admission and skate rental.
