A brawl at a party at a Pasadena apartment complex early Saturday led to the hospitalization of one man and the robbery of another, police said.
The incident unfolded about 1:30 a.m. along Hammond Street, just west of Fair Oaks Avenue, Pasadena police Lt. Anthony Burgess said.
A group of five men was leaving a party when they were confronted by another group of five men, he said. A fight erupted between the groups.
One of the men in the first group was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to the lieutenant. Another had his wallet and fold watch stolen during the melee.
The five suspects fled the area and were not found. Detailed descriptions were not available.
