Police found spent bullet casings at two separate shooting scenes in Pasadena late Friday and early Saturday, but no victims were located, authorities said.

Officers first responded about 11:30 a.m. to reports of gunfire heard at Washington Park, 700 E. Washington Blvd., Pasadena police Lt. Anthony Burgess said.

They discovered spent bullet casings at the park, along with bottles of alcohol littered in the handball court area, he said.

While they were conducting their investigation, the officers heard more gunfire emanating from a nearby neighborhood about a mile to the south just before 12:30 a.m., Burgess said.

They soon found more spent bullet casings in a residential neighborhood in the 600 block of North El Molino Avenue, according to the lieutenant.

No shooter descriptions were available in either incident.
