The production of The Addams Family Musical premiering at 7 p.m. on Friday proves that the legacy of great musical shows at John Muir High School is alive and well in the 21st century.
The show will have a 7 p.m. encore Saturday night followed by a 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon matinee on the 24th.
This year’s event involves a large collaboration of students. Groups include the Muir Pit Band, led by Muir Alumna Karen Klages, Micol Issa’s Mustang Design Lab, Courtney Scrabeck’s Technical Theater class, and the Muir Vocal Rhapsody Choir, directed by Cassandra Franklin. Students from Muir Mustang Media and other art classes will support the event.
The free event will be held in the Rufus Mead Auditorium at John Muir High School, 1905 N. Lincoln Ave., Pasadena.
Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for general admission.
