A Cool But Rainless Week Predicted

Published on Sunday, November 27, 2016 | 5:20 pm

After rain and gusty winds over the weekend, Pasadena residents could still experience breezy winds early Monday but most areas in Los Angeles County will remain dry. Temperatures will be below normal.

Monday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 65, and a north wind at about five miles per hour.

Monday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 48. A north northeast wind of five to 15 mph will prevail, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

By Tuesday, the north wind transitions to a northeast Santa Ana wind event. It does not look like it will be too windy and might not even reach low end advisory criteria. Winds could be five to 15 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

The day will be sunny. The adiabatic warming will struggle to warm the very cool air mass and maximum temperatures will rise to about 71 degrees for most valley locations.

Tuesday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 45.

Wednesday will be sunny as the weak offshore flow continues, with a high near 70. The air mass will still be cool and maximum temperatures across the valleys will only rise to near normal through Saturday.

Wednesday night will be mostly clear, with lows around 46.

Here’s how the rest of the week will be like:

Thursday – Sunny, with a high near 66.

Thursday Night – Partly cloudy, with a low around 44. Breezy.

Friday – Sunny, with a high near 66. Breezy.

Friday Night – Mostly clear, with a low around 43. Breezy.

Saturday – Sunny, with a high near 69. Breezy.
