The deputies received a call that a man was breaking into parked cars around 12:20 a.m. in the area of North El Molino Avenue and East Sacramento Street, Sgt. Darrin Walker told City News Service.
Arriving deputies encounter a suspect and for unknown reasons one deputy discharged his weapon. No shots struck the suspect, who complied with deputies commands and was arrested.
