Altadena Detectives Investigate Thursday Shooting Attack

Los Angeles County Sheriffs deputies working from the Altadena Station responded to the area of Lincoln Ave. and Harriet St. in Altadena Thursday morning in response to a citizen’s report of shots fired.

Minutes after arriving on the scene, the deputies received additional information that the victim had driven to the 300 block of West Mendocino St. Once located, the victim led the deputies to the intersection of Casitas Ave. and Harriet St. where the deputies found evidence that a shooting occurred.

The victim told the deputies that unknown person or persons in a dark-colored,  small SUV type vehicle opened fire on him while he was driving in his car. The victim was not struck by the gunfire, although the victim’s vehicle was struck numerous times.

The Altadena Sheriff’s station is seeking anybody who may have witnessed the shooting and asking that witnesses contact Altadena Station Detectives at (626) 798-1131.
