Altadena Search and Rescue Finds 5 Lost Men in Eaton Canyon

Altadena Search and Rescue team found five young adult males who got lost while attempting to hike to the second waterfall in Power Line Trail – Eaton Canyon, Angeles National Forest on August 5 at 9:00 p.m.

Altadena deputies were notified by concerned family members when the hikers failed to come home.

The hikers were found to have strayed 300 feet off trail and it took rescue personnel approximately five hours to hike them out. They were walked to safety Tuesday at 2:00 a.m. No one was injured.
