The authorities are still searching for clues that will help identify a man who was found dead by aÂ hiker over the weekend on a hiking trail north of NASAâ€™s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in AngelesÂ National Forest.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, was found by a hiker along the trail. Los Angeles CountyÂ Coroner Lt. Larry Dietz said authorities are still trying to determine the cause of death, but thisÂ early, theorized the man might have died of hiking accident.
Sergeant Cynthia Gonzales of the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station said the police do not knowÂ how long the body has been dead.
Gonzales said a hiker discovered the body at around 7:40 a.m. on Saturday and immediatelyÂ contacted authorities.
