BBQ Americano is back at the University Club of Pasadena every Friday from 5 to 9 p.m., starting this Friday, April 30, with strict safe-distancing and mask protocols.
BBQ Americano will be outdoors at The Patio and feature meal combos by Guest Chef Robin Salzer from $22 to $30, and additional entrees by Executive Chef Tony Lu.
Live bands will be performing at a safe distance. Friday’s music will be Hits From Across the Decades by Decades of Rock. Expect to hear classic rock, Motown, R&B and country songs from the ’80s, ’70s and ’60s over the next few weeks.

Since 1922, The University Club of Pasadena, located at 175 N. Oakland Ave., has served as a center for professional, academic and social life in the community.
Aside from BBQ Americano on Friday, dining service hours are 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, and from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday nights at The Patio.
Curbside pickup is also available from 11:30 to 5 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and until 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
Diners are advised to wear a mask when they arrive. If they don’t bring theirs, a mask will be provided by staff. Only self-parking is allowed. If entering the limited indoor dining space, temperatures will be taken at the door.
Be advised to practice social distancing and to follow cues marked on the floor. Stay six feet apart from others, and do not gather in areas such as the lobby or breezeway.
Pasadena guidelines require tables of no more than six persons and they must be from the same household if indoors.
