A Michael Bloomberg presidential campaign event came to Pasadena on Tuesday.

The “Women Get It Done Express Bus Tour” came to Pasadena at 11 a.m. The event featured some of the women playing key roles Bloomberg’s campaign.

The billionaire candidate surged in campaign rankings last week, and according to some polls, he now only trails Bernie Sanders. He is scheduled to make his formal debut on the presidential debate stage in Las Vegas on Wednesday night.

On Tuesday, scheduled participants include Katherine Oliver, principal at Bloomberg Associates and former commissioner of the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment in NYC, and Fatima Shama, senior adviser for the campaign.

Similar programs were held in Los Angeles. The event also included a conversation providing insight into Bloomberg’s “commitment to women, public safety and communities.”

The campaign has opened at least 150 campaign offices across the country and has more than 2,000 staffers nationwide. The Bloomberg Pasadena Field Office is at 54 W. Green Street.

Bloomberg has spent millions of dollars to become viable in the presidential candidate. By this weekend, it is expected he will have opened 200 campaign offices across the country.
