Santa Ana winds will develop throughout the region Friday, National Weather Service forecasters said, as a warming trend continues that will last through next week picks up steam.
NWS forecasters issued a wind advisory from 3 p.m. Friday through 3 p.m. Saturday, but in Pasadena the winds are expected to be mild, 5 to15 mph with occasional stronger gusts.
Clear skies and above-average daytime temperatures are expected to play out through the weekend and beyond.

Today: Sunny, with a high near 71. Northeast wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 50. Windy, with a north northeast wind 20 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 70. Breezy, with a northeast wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Saturday Night: Clear, with a low around 48. North northeast wind 10 to 15 mph.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 71. North northeast wind 10 to 15 mph.
Sunday Night: Clear, with a low around 47.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 69.
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 46.
