The UCLA Bruins face off against the North Carolina Central Eagles in a historic matchup at the Rose Bowl on Saturday in an early game kickoff at 2 p.m.
This will be the first time that UCLA has played against a team from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) in football.
Event hours open at 8 a.m. when parking lots open, according to the Rose Bowl. At 9:45 a.m. the Fan Zone Opens in Area H; at 11:30 a.m. the Parsons Shuttle Begins; at 12:30 p.m. the Stadium Gates Open.
?For locals who live near the stadium or plan to use the Arroyo for recreation here’s what to expect:
The Recreational Loop will be closed Saturday from 5 a.m.-9 p.m. The Equestrian Trail will remain open at all times.
There will be a brief use of pyrotechnics 45 minutes prior to Kickoff (1:15 p.m.) as well as when the team runs onto the field, during the National Anthem and anytime UCLA scores a touchdown. (Total pyrotechnics display may be heard for under 30 seconds).
In addition, there will be a 15-second air horn blown simultaneously to the pyrotechnics, 45 minutes prior to the start of the game.
