A 23-year-old man suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds during a car-to-car shooting Wednesday night, a Pasadena police lieutenant said.

The shooting victim was seated in his parked vehicle in the 500 block of Prescott Street when the suspect vehicle, a late model Honda Accord, pulled up next to him and someone inside the car fired several shots, said Pasadena police Lt. Jason Clawson.

Clawson said the victim was hit in the lower extremities. Paramedics rushed him to an area hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, Clawson said.

Police were dispatched to the scene of the shooting at 8:24 p.m. Wednesday. The police lieutenant said the victim was being uncooperative in assisting the police with their investigation.

The suspect was described only as a Latino male, Clawson said.
