A family arrived home from vacation Tuesday to discover two vehicles parked in their driveway had been struck by bullets, police said.

The shooting was discovered about 7:45 p.m. when the victims arrived home in the 1200 block of Summit Avenue, Pasadena police Lt. Anthony Burgess said.

The residents found that the windows of two cars parked in their driveway had been damaged by gunfire, he said.

Officials said the vehicles had been parked for several days, and it was not clear when the shooting occurred. Neighbors did not report hearing gunfire, Burgess added.
