Church of Scientology Pasadena Hosts Reception for Beijing APECF Leader

During a visit to Pasadena, Mr. Xiao Wunan, Executive Vice Chairman of Asia Pacific Exchange & Cooperation Foundation (APECF) from Beijing, China attended a Tea Ceremony and Lunch Reception at the community room of the Church of Scientology of Pasadena’s Braley building.

Mr. Xiao who is also the International Chairman, Religion and Cooperation Organization of the United Nations, presented an exquisite Chinese painting to Ms. Eden Stein, President of the Church of Scientology of Pasadena during the tea ceremony. “This traditional painting contains Chinese characters which are the most ancient symbols in the world. Chinese people use ink to write its words on paper. This is our very first gift to you. It’s a gift from God,” said Mr. Xiao.

A special leather bound commemorative edition of L. Ron Hubbard books were presented to Mr. Xiao for his office in Beijing. He accepted them referring to Buddha that the best achievement in the world is passing along knowledge.
