Pasadena City College men’s basketball guard Mike Swanegan, an All-South Coast Conference North Division selection from the 2012-13 team, accepted a scholarship to continue his education and playing career at William Penn University (Iowa). Swanegan played for his father, Lancers head coach Michael Swanegan, for two seasons at PCC.

The younger Swanegan played at Diamond Ranch High prior to joining the Lancers as a freshman shooting guard in the 2010-11 season. In his sophomore season, the 6-foot-1 Swanegan emerged as the Lancers scoring leader at 15.6 points per game and his 84 baskets from 3-point range led the SCC in that category.

Swanegan scored 521 career points for the Lancers and is 62nd on PCC’s all-time scoring list.
