Community Bank Announces Key Promotion: Alan Buckle Named Executive Vice President and Head of Business Banking

Community Bank, an independent community bank that has served Southern California for nearly 70 years, has promoted Alan Buckle to Executive Vice President and Head of Business Banking. With this promotion, Buckle will become a member of the Bank’s Executive Management Group.

Buckle joined Community Bank in 2009 as First Vice President and Business Center Manager for the Burbank location. In 2010 he was promoted to Senior Vice President and Regional Manager.

In his new role Buckle will be responsible for overseeing the Bank’s three regional teams. His goals include working with the Regional Managers to grow the Bank’s customer base and attract new commercial relationships.

Prior to working for Community Bank, Buckle acted as Managing Director of Asset Management at Alliance Bank for five years, and held a number of senior positions during the 22 years he worked for Bank of the West (formerly Sanwa Bank).
