Concorso Ferrari Thrilled, Fascinated Enthusiasts with Over 140 Supercars

Ferrari Club of America Southwest Region (FCA Southwest Region) amazed enthusiasts last Sunday with an offering of over 140 vintage & contemporary Ferraris, Ferrari Supercars, engaging sponsor displays and their annual concourse.

Concorso Ferrari, FCA Southwest Region’s signature annual event, had much to offer this year. Colorado Boulevard in Old Pasadena was full of Ferrari activity from Pasadena Avenue to Raymond Avenue. With rare early cars such as an exquisite 1953 212 Europa and a 1962 250GT PF Cabriolet to a fabulous collection of Daytonas, Dinos and a vast array of ultimate performance later models, there was something for everyone.

Ferraris from 2004 and earlier were judged in the Ferrari exclusive concours. All vehicles were judged following FCA National guidelines IAC/PFA (International Advisory Council for the Preservation of Ferrari Automobiles) and awards were presented in (10) classes, ‘Best In Show,’ ‘Best Car on the Street’ and an addition for this year, the Special Award of Excellence.

New for this year was a rare lineup of Ferrari Supercars. The 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo and La Ferrari were crowd pleasers all day. Highlighting this exclusive display was the Special Award of Excellence winner, a (1) of (6) produced 2014 Ferrari Sergio.

A New York Ferrari enthusiast newly relocated to Los Angeles noted, ‘The BEST thing I’ve experienced in California thus far…only in Southern California could you find a free, ALL FERRARI show in the perfect downtown setting….this lineup is beyond impressive!’

Excellent weather, a superb display of Ferraris and thousands of appreciative enthusiasts made Concorso Ferrari a successful event for yet another year.
