Congresswomen to Host Virtual Town Hall Meeting on Racial Justice

The community is invited to take part in a virtual forum to discuss addressing issues of racial injustice Wednesday with three congresswomen.

Rep. Judy Chu, (D-Pasadena), who chairs the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus, is co-hosting the forum, to begin at 5 p.m., along with Rep. Lucille Royball-Allard, D-Commerce, who formerly headed the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. Rep. Karen Bass, D-Los Angeles, who currently leads the Congressional Black Caucus, will also be featured as a special guest, organizers said.

The town hall meeting, titled “Strengthening Our Communities, will focus on, “the shared vision for addressing racial injustices in our communities,” according to a statement released by Chu’s office.

The online forum will take via Zoom video conference. Those interested are asked to RSVP online.
