Mayor Tornek to Discuss Pasadena’s Embezzlement Scandal Thursday Night

District 3 Councilmember John J. Kennedy will host a community meeting at All Saints Church on Thursday evening, and Mayor Terry Tornek as well as other city officials are expected to attend to engage the public about key city issues.

Mayor Tornek is lated to deliver introduction and comments updating the attendees about the status of the city’s embezzlement investigation, water conservation efforts and regulations, Robinson Park, Heritage Square and the Parsons/Lincoln properties.

“Anyone who would like to attend is certainly invited to the community meeting,” says Kennedy field representative Christian Cruz.

Cruz said Assistant City Managers Steve Mermell and Julie Gutierrez will be in attendance.

“Usually we have other City officials who will pop in and out of the meeting as well,” he said.

The meeting is to start at 6 p.m. at All Saints Church, 132 North Euclid Avenue, across from Pasadena City Hall.
