Pasadena health and school officials are once again teaming up with Huntington Hospital to offer high school students and their families COVID-19 vaccinations at a clinic planned Friday at Muir High School.

The clinic will be primarily appointment based, although there will be limited walk-up availability between 1 and 3:30 p.m. at the campus, 1905 Lincoln Ave., city officials said in a written statement.

A similar clinic was held last week at Victory Park for Pasadena High School students and their families.

The clinics seek to vaccinate as many students over 16 years old as possible, along with their families, ahead of planned June 4 graduation ceremonies at the Rose Bowl, according to city spokeswoman Lisa Derderian.

Friday’s clinic will make use of the Pfizer vaccine formulation, which is the only version currently approved for 16- and 17-year-old recipients.

Those interested can sign up using the state’s vaccination website at myturn.ca.gov, using access code BM9HSCR3QE.

Those without access to a computer, or who require assistance, can reach the Pasadena Citizen Service Center at (626) 744-7311.
