Two Pasadena men who work together got into a fight in the underground parking garage of the apartment complex where both live early Monday morning. One of the men threw a bottle at the other, cutting his forehead, police said.

The fight happened at about 1:06 a.m. in the 400 block of North Chester Avenue. The victim’s wife called police after her husband was injured, according to Lt. Anthony Russo, Jr.

Arriving officers found both men, Russo said.

Police say the fight was apparently work-related.

The suspect, identified by police as 52-year-old Guillermo Torres-Carcamo, was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. He suffered a large contusion to his face during the fight. He was treated at Huntington Hospital and released before being booked into jail, according to Russo.

The 32-year-old victim suffered a 1-inch laceration from the bottle hitting his head but refused medical treatment, Russo said.
