Deputies Respond to Shots Fired, Found Blood But No Victim

Sheriff’s deputies responding to a “shots fired” call in Altadena Tuesday night found three shell casings, a small amount of blood on the street and yet no body.

Lt. Elisabeth Sachs of the sheriff’s Altadena station told the Pasadena Star-News that callers reported about 11:25 p.m. Tuesday hearing six to seven shots on Stonehurst Drive and Lincoln Avenue.

Sachs told the Star-News that a white car was reported leaving the scene, adding that deputies checked area hospitals and located no shooting victims.
