Elderly Couple Shaken by Hot Prowl Burglary

An elderly couple in the 1500 block of Arroyo View Drive of Pasadena was left shaken after a ‘hot prowl’ burglary while they were home on Wednesday night.

Lt. Sean Dawkins said officers responded to a call from the residents of the 1500 block of Arroyo View Drive around 8:12 p.m. They reported that an unknown male was in their backyard with a flashlight.

Dawkins said the suspect then smashed a rear window to enter the house, but fled when the residents yelled at him. He was seen leaving with two other suspects, a male and a female, in a black SUV.

The victims, a woman in her 60s and a man in his 70s, were not injured. No arrests have been made.
