Fire Engine Struck by Car, Damaged

Pasadena Fire Department’s Engine 32 was struck by a car early Sunday as it responded to an emergency.

Two firefighters and the car’s occupants were injured.

Engine 32 received “potentially significant damage and [is] out of service,” reports Fore Dept. spokesperson Lisa Derderian.

“We will have a back-up engine in service immediately,” Derderian said Sunday.
