First United Methodist Church “Benjamin Britten: Rejoice in the Lamb”

The Chancel Choir of First United Methodist Church Pasadena with dancers from the Pasadena Civic Ballet present two performances of Benjamin Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb, contata for soloists, choir, and organ on Sunday, October 6, 2013.

The first performance will be in worship at 10:00 a.m. The second will be in concert at 2:00 p.m. This all-Britten concert will also feature David Garrett, cello Suite for Unaccompanied Cello, Cabaret Songs and Folk Songs performed by the Sanctuary Quartet and a reprise of Rejoice in the Lamb. There is no charge for the concert, but a free will offering will be taken to cover costs.
