The Foothill Unity Center will distribute holiday food boxes from 9 a.m to noon on Monday at its Pasadena site, 191 N. Oak Ave, Pasadena.

This week nearly 3,000 families will be served with holiday food boxes as more than 400 volunteers have come together to prepare and distribute these greatly needed food boxes.

“As part of the continued effort to meet the great need of the community during the COVID-19 crisis the distribution will be done as a drive through event,” according to a prepared statement. The Center has been registering participants for the drive through event from their service area and beyond.

The event kicked off on Saturday with distribution in Monrovia and Arcadia.

Events are also scheduled for Azusa and Monrovia, on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

For more than 41 years Foothill Unity Center has been serving the San Gabriel Valley Foothills with vital support services including food, health, case management, job development, volunteer services and homeless and housing. As part of those services the Center provides their participants with special events.
