Four Arrested for Attempted Residential Break-In

On Wednesday, October 13, 2021, 2021, at approximately 8:56 pm, a resident in the 1000 block of Highland Street of South Pasadena called the police and reported observing two unknown subjects in the backyard of a neighbor’s home.

South Pasadena police officers arrived within minutes and found three men running from the scene. With assistance from the Pasadena Police Department helicopter, all three suspects were located and taken into custody. A fourth suspect was found nearby, waiting in a parked vehicle.

During the investigation, officers found evidence the suspects attempted to break into the home where they were first observed. The suspects were identified as 47-year-old Johnwell Joseph of Los Angeles, 25-year-old Christopher Beamon of Inglewood, 35-year-old Bryan Smith of Palmdale, and 30-year-old Rayniesha Harris of Los Angeles. All suspects were arrested without incident and booked into the Alhambra City Jail.
