The owner of the Chevron station on the southeast corner of Arroyo Parkway and California Boulevard is scheduled to ask Pasadena’s Hearing Officer to extend the timeframe of a permit allowing him to convert part of the business compound into retail space.

As approved in 2018, the expanded convenience store onsite would be approximately 2,224 square feet in size. Currently, the space is occupied by three automotive service bays offering oil change and lube services.

The applicant is seeking a one-year extension of MCUP No. 6586.

The public hearing begins at 5:30 p.m.
