Get Hoppy on Memorial Day

Hop on over to the Bunny Museum this Memorial Day, May 24. The musuem will be open to the public from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.

The 1926, Spanish stucco home of Candace Frazee and Steve Lubanski, is filled with everything bunny! Over 30,000 bunny collectibles: furniture, light fixtures, kitchenware, toiletries, books, games. And lounging around their home, are real bunny pets that do not live in cages, and are litter box trained! The world’s largest bunny collection opened to the public 20 March 1998 housed in a living museum with bunny collectibles of every size, shape, and matter; including 8 Rose Parade® float bunnies.

The museum is home to Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, Peter Cottontail, NesQuik Rabbit, Peter Rabbit, Brer Rabbit, White Rabbit and March Hare (from Alice in Wonderland), Roger Rabbit, Trix Rabbit, Rabbit (from Winnie the Pooh), Thumper (from Bambi), Uncle Wiggily, Energizer Bunny, Miffy, and Mashimaro, to name a few.

The Bunny Museum collection began Valentine’s Day 1993 with one bunny-Steve Lubanski’s gift to his girlfriend, Candace Frazee. They opened up their home to the public on March 20, 1998 with approximately 7,000 bunny items of every size, shape and matter. On August 6, 1999 they received The Guinness World Record of the most bunny items in the world: 8,437. Currently they have over 31,000 bunny artifacts.

Admission is a suggested donation of $5.00 with children four and under free.
