Gunshots Fired Into Home

On a night when it is difficult to discern between fireworks and gunshots, officers responded to a tip of shots fired early this morning near the 1300 block of El Sereno Avenue near Washington Boulevard, only to discover bullet casings just outside a house, according to Lt. Chris Russ.

Shortly before 2 a.m., about three gunshots were reportedly fired from a vehicle and struck the structure of the house.

The gunshots were apparently fired pursuant to a verbal argument. Just before the shots were fired, two juveniles who were apparently by the vehicle reportedly ran toward the house.

When officers arrived to the scene, Russ stated they discovered three casings on the ground and three bullet holes in the structure of the home.

The gunshots were allegedly fired from a 1990 Chevrolet Impala occupied by four male Hispanics, according to Russ. However, he added no arrests were made. Also, there were no reported injuries.
