The Pasadena-based law firm Hahn & Hahn LLP has announced the appointment of a new attorney to round out the firm’s first all-female Family Law Practice Group, representatives announced Friday.

Kayla K. Horacek has been named to the team, alongside colleagues Candice K. Rogers and Lucy A. Vartanian, Hahn and Hahn said in a written statement.

The addition of Horacek represented a strong addition to the team and “rounds out a dynamic group of strong legal advisors, giving us unique strength to serve our clients well throughout Southern California,” said Managing Partner Christianne F. Kerns.

“We are excited to offer clients the additional capabilities Kayla brings to our practice,” Kerns said. “She has deep knowledge of family law matters, and the combination of her experience and expertise bolsters an already well-respected and dynamic family law department.”

Horacek has 15 years of experience in the legal field, much of it in divorce and family law, according to the firm.

She most recently practiced in the family law group of a boutique firm in Los Angeles, according to Hahn & Hahn.

“I am thrilled to join the skilled attorneys at Hahn & Hahn and excited to be part of a female-led team,” Horacek said. “I’m inspired by the satisfaction I get in helping people and in making a difference in such a sensitive and vulnerable time in their lives.”

Horacek serves on the board of directors at the Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law in Los Angeles, where she donated legal services to represent clients, the firm added.
