A man described as white or Hispanic, 30 to 40 years old, with a shaved head, a mustache and a goatee and worn a dark colored shirt, blue denim shorts, and flip-flop sandals, stole a laptop computer inside a store in Pasadena.
On June 9, at about 12:04 p.m., the suspect entered the Pavilions  at 1200 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena and picked up a shopping basket. The suspect sat down at the customer service laptop computer, where customers can use the computer to access their accounts or apply for a job. He reached into his pocket, possibly retrieved a bolt cutter, and cut the lock securing the laptop to the table.
The suspect then placed the laptop into a shopping basket and walked to the rear of the store, where he hid the laptop under his shirt. He then exited the store with the laptop hidden under his clothes.
