Home Depot has posted job listings for a wide variety of job openings ahead of the planned opening of a location on the site of the former Avon distribution warehouse in Pasadena, according to the company.

The in-progress home improvement store at Foothill Boulevard and Sunnyslope Drive is anticipated to open its doors in spring, although an exact date was not yet available, according to Home Depot spokeswoman Libby Wrick.

Pasadena Planning and Community Development Director David Reyes said Thursday that it was “very exciting” seeing the project take shape.

“The city’s building official is conducting a walk-through today that would potentially allow them to start stocking the shelves,” he said.

Ahead of the opening, the company has listed openings for 10 different positions to be filled at the new store.

They include lot associate, delivery driver, asset protection specialist, store support, cashier, merchandising, freight and receiving, kitchen/bath designer, department supervisor and customer service, according to Home Depot’s job listings.
