Police sought clues after someone opened fire on a home in Pasadena’s Oak Knoll neighborhood while a 67-year-old resident was inside early Sunday, officials said.
The shooting was reported just after 12:45 a.m. in the 1300 block of Ridge Way, Pasadena police Lt. Anthony Burgess said.
A woman reported hearing three gunshots outside her home, he said. Investigating officers found that the house had been struck by three bullets, including one that had penetrated a window, he said.
Officers managed to recover at least one of the projectiles for analysis, Burgess added. The resident was not hurt.
No description of the shooter was available, nor was a motive for the attack.
