Huntington Health’s Senior Care Network is continuing its mission to support the health and well-being of adults aged 50 and over through its free 50+ Health Connection membership program.
On April 17, the network will host an online Noon Hour presentation that provides nutrition advice and cooking demonstrations specifically tailored for seniors.
The class, led by registered dietitian nutritionists from Huntington Health, aims to educate older adults on making healthy food choices to support their unique dietary needs and prevent chronic diseases. Attendees will learn practical tips for meal planning, grocery shopping on a budget, and preparing quick and nutritious recipes at home.
The 50+ Health Connection program offers a wide range of free resources and events for seniors throughout the year, including fitness classes, health screenings, educational seminars, and social activities. Membership is open to all adults aged 50 and older in the community.
Registration is required for this event and can be completed by visiting https://bit.ly/3vUhwyB or calling the membership line at (626) 397-3147 and a staff member will assist you with registration.
