Jogger Mugged Near the Rose Bowl

A 32-year-old Altadena man was mugged by two unidentified assailants Wednesday afternoon while jogging near the Rose Bowl area, the Pasadena Police reported.

Authorities said one of the suspects was armed with a hand gun and accosted the victim while jogging on a trail near Rosemont Avenue and Washington Boulevard around 1 p.m.

The robbers took an MP3 player and $20 from the victim before fleeing on foot.

The victim identified one of the suspects as black, in his early 20s, standing five feet and ten inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds and wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.

The other suspect was also black and in his early 20s, standing five feet and six inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
