KPCC AirTalk host Larry Mantle leads another voter cram session on Wednesday, March 1, focused on the primary nominating election on March 7 and the general election on May 16, at the Crawford Family Forum in Pasadena.

Los Angeles voters must decide on two measures related to homelessness. One of them, Measure S, would require development project approval that may affect housing for the homeless and county-wide. Measure H, the other measure, would implement a quarter-cent sales tax to fund homeless services.

On the voter cram session, proponents, opponents and experts on Measure S and Measure H will join Mantle as they attempt to break down the details of these local initiatives.

Speaking about Measure S will be Jill Stewart, Director of Yes on S; and Laura Raymond, campaign manager of the Alliance for Community Transit (ACT-LA).

For Measure H, the panel will be made up of Chris Ko, director of homeless initiatives for United Way; Rebecca Prine, founder of Recycled Resources for the Homeless; and Veronica Lewis, division director at the Homeless Outreach Program Integrated Care System (HOPICS).

KPCC correspondent Rina Palta and CityWatch columnist Jack Humphreville will be joining the panel.

The session is free and open, and will start at 7 p.m. For more information, call (626) 583-5100 or visit www.scpr.org/events/20.

The Crawford Family Forum is at 474 S. Raymond Avenue in Pasadena.
