The Pasadena Public Library is hosting Educator Night on Thursday, Feb. 2, for current preschool to 12th grade educators, librarians, school staff, and administrators who teach or live in Pasadena.

Tim McDonald, Acting Director of Libraries and Information Services, said this will be held at the Jefferson Branch Library, at 1500 E. Villa Street, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Educator Night provides the opportunity for the Pasadena community to say “thank you” for “all you do to inspire, challenge, and engage students to learn, discover, and grow,” McDonald said.

The two-hour event will feature dinner, opportunities to learn about the Pasadena Publidc Library’s free resources for teachers, librarians and students; conversations with librarians, and a take home tote bag and book to share with classes.

“You’ll also get an opportunity to be among the first to explore the new Jefferson Branch Library,” McDonald said.

Only educators will be accommodated, no other guests are allowed, so the Library can welcome as many educators as possible.

Educators will need to sign up at first, at:
