Live Blogging by Eddie Rivera|Dodgers Throttle Los Gigantes, 8-0

As if last night never happened, the Dodgers overwhelmed the Giants Wednesday with a thorough 8-0 trouncing with steady pitching from ace Walker Buehler and solid hitting up and down the lineup.

The Dodgers broke the game open in the third with a single from Max Muncy, followed by a single from Justin Turner.

Smith then tripled to the deep right corner,as Muncy and Turner scooted for home. Smith was brought home by a single from Pollock.

The Dodgers erupted for three more runs in the seventh, followed by a home run by Bellinger which almost cleared the promenade in right field.

Mitch White effectively shushed the Giants in his two innings of relief.

They both come back tomorrow for the third game of the series.

After an errant throw from Cody Bellinger brought in the winning run for the Giants Tuesday night, the Dodgers head back into the battle tonight.

Walker Buehler, who is having a birthday all day today, is on the mound for the Dodgers, while Anthony DeSclafani, will be pitching for the Giants.

The Dodgers are currently three games behind the Giants in the NL West race? Do I really need to say anything else?
