Live Blogging with Eddie Rivera | Dodgers Fall off the Rockies, 5-2, at the Ravine

Erasing months without a victory over LA, the Colorado Rockies defeated the Dodgers 5-2, Saturday at the Ravine.

A three-run ninth inning highlighted by a deep double by Josh Fuentes proved to be too much to overcome.

The loss still featured a sterling performance from new Dodger reliever Victor Gonzales, who retired every Rockie he faced.

Blake Treinen took the loss for the Dodgers, while Yency Almonte was credited with the Rockie victory.

Temperatures for tomorrow afternoon’s game are expected to be over 100. Be glad you’ll be inside.

Following last night’s 10-6 victory over the Colorado Rockies, the Los Angeles Dodgers go at it again with Colorado tonight, with temperatures expected to be hovering above 100 degrees at first pitch.

Tony Gonsolin (0-0) will face off against German Marquez (2-5). The Dodgers currently hold the best record in Major League Baseball, at 30-10, and have won six games in a row, with ten victories in the last 11 games.
