SAN FRANCISCO–Seizing the opportunity to increase their lead at a crucial point in the season, the San Francisco Giants defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 2-1, at Oracle Park on Tuesday night. The win gives the Giants a three game lead in the NL West.

My epic is the Dodgers and Giants tonight’s game was relatively uneventful see for a few key hits by both teams, and another disappointing relief performance by the Dodgers bullpen.

Julio Urias was relatively steady for the first five innings, but was removed when things got a little shaky in the sixth.

The Dodgers return tomorrow for a rematch in the three-games series.
