The food box distribution will start at 10 a.m. April 10, 17, and 24 at Holy Assembly Church of God in Christ 55 East Villa Street, Pasadena, CA 91103.

“We are blessed to be able to provide this high-quality, fresh food for distribution to families in need during this COVID-19 pandemic,” said Bishop Milton who secured the USDA Farmers-to-Families program. “This will be a continuation of our efforts to provide critical support to families in the area who are challenged to provide nutritious meals for their children. We are especially glad to have the participation of the Ed and Shari Brown Foundation of Beverly Hills. ”

“We continue to make this a socially-distanced, no contact, drive-through event,” said Martin Gordon of the Pasadena Community Coalition. Please wear your mask! “We want to make sure everyone stays safe. We will have a limited number of masks on hand for participants.

Friends of the Miracle Mile, Ed and Shari Brown Foundation, Pasadena Community Coalition and Holy Assembly Church of God in Christ have a long-standing collaborative relationship in providing services to the community.

Past efforts have included events such as National Night Out, community outreach with local politicians, educational programs and internships for youths, and hosting a reception for Ambassador Andrew Young.

The Ed and Shari Brown Foundation is especially proud of its work with Amazing Girls of the World, helping young women in the Philippines grow the power of hope, courage and compassion through leadership education.
