A 26-year-old Glendale man was arrested for drunken driving Saturday morning after crashing into a police car, police said.
Levon Grigoryan was attempting to parallel park his Mercedes SL500 in the 300 block of Colorado Boulevard at about 1 a.m. Saturday, said Pasadena Police Department Lt. Chris Russ. He then accidentally backed the vehicle into the front of a police cruiser, Russ said. The accident damaged the passenger side of the police car’s front bumper.
Grigoryan was tested for alcohol consumption and it was determined that he was driving with a blood alcohol content of over the legal limit of .08, Russ said. Russ declined to specify Grigoryan’s exact blood alcohol level due to the pending court case.
