Police are seeking an older man who is either white or Hispanic for allegedly robbing a Bank of America branch on Friday.

At about 5 p.m., a man in his 50s or 60s entered the bank at 880 E. Colorado Blvd., said Pasadena Police Department Lt. Chris Russ in a telephone interview. The man allegedly handed the teller a demand note for money, took about $4,000 cash, and fled the scene, Russ said. No weapon was displayed but this is being investigated as an armed robbery, Russ said.

The man was described by witnesses as between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He is either white or Hispanic, and has a black and gray beard. The suspect’s hair color is also black and gray, and witnesses reported to police that he was wearing either a blue sweatshirt or a blue jacket.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Pasadena Police Department at 626-744-4501.
