Man Arrested for Approaching 10-Year Old Girl in Hotel Jacuzzi, Making Lewd Suggestions

A 21-year old Portland, Ore. man was detained by hotel security and arrested by Pasadena Police Saturday night at the Langham Huntington Hotel in the 1400 block of South Oak Knoll Avenue after he allegedly made lewd remarks to a 10-year old girl which were overheard by the girl’s nanny.

Police said the man reportedly approached the girl in the hotel’s jacuzzi at about 9:30 p.m. The girl’s nanny was sitting next to the girl and heard the man’s remarks. The nanny called hotel security.

Pasadena Police Lt. John Mercado said hotel security detained the man, then called Pasadena Police.

Andrew Le, 21 years old, was arrested by arriving police officers for Contacting a Minor with Intent to Commit a Felony. Los Angeles County Jail booking records show Le was held on $5,000 bail.
