Police are seeking a man and woman in connection with the armed robbery of a man at a Pasadena bus stop on Monday afternoon, officials said.

The crime took place just before 2:10 p.m. as a Rosemead man in his 40s was sitting at a bus stop at Allen Street and Villa Avenue, Pasadena police Lt. Sean Dawkins said.

An SUV approached the victim before a woman riding as a passenger began talking to the man, he said. The woman made some sort of statement about giving the man money.

The woman then pointed a handgun at the victim, who raised his arms, Dawkins said. The woman grabbed several hundred dollars from the victim’s pocket before she and the driver sped away.

The victim was not hurt, he said.

Police described the robber as a Latino woman in her 40s, accompanied by a man who appeared to be in his 50s. They were traveling in an early-model, light-colored SUV
