A man was standing outside of a Pasadena apartment building Wednesday night and later discovered he had been shot in the leg, police said.
At about 8 p.m., the victim was standing outside of an apartment building located at Washington and Michigan avenues, Pasadena Police Department Lt. Bruce George said Thursday in a telephone interview.
The man heard a noise he thought was firecrackers, and noticed he had a mark on his leg that he thought was a cut, George said. However, later the man realized he had been shot in the leg and called police.
There is no suspect information and no evidence was found, George said.
